Tim Guinee is an American actor best known for his roles as "Collis Huntington" in AMC's "Hell on Wheels", "Dean McNally" in CBS' "Elementary", and "Dean McNally" in CBS' "The Good Wife". He currently portrays Ted on Syfy's Van Helsing.
He was born on November 18th of 1962, in Los Angeles California. Birth name Timothy Sanders Guinee. Guinee is of Irish, English, and Scottish descent. He is the middle child, with three brothers and two sisters, and was raised in Illinois and Texas as a child. When he was a teenager, he attended the Houston High School for Performing Arts.
Tim's on-screen debut was in 1986, a small role in a film titled "Tai-Pan", he portrayed a character named Culum Struan. After that he went on to do great things, appearing in such films and television series as "Wise Guy", "L.A. Law", "Golden Years", "Strange World", "Blade", "Tarzan", "Ghost Whisperer", "Iron Man", "24", "Lie to Me", and many more that followed.
He is married to fellow actress Daisy Foote, he met her while filming the 1996 Showtime film "Lily Dale". Daisy is the daughter of Horton Foote, thus making Tim and Horton in-laws.
