Paul Johansson is a American actor best known for his roles as "Greg Hughes" in NBC's "Santa Barbra", "Nick Comstock" in FOX's "Parker Lewis Can't Lose", and "John Sears" in FOX's "Beverly Hills, 90210". He currently portrays Dmitri in Syfy's Van Helsing.
He was born on January 26th of 1964 in Spokane Washington. Birth name Paul Joseph Otto Johansson, known by friends as P-Bomb and The Paul. He was born in the United States, but was later raised in Canada, thus resulting in citizenship in both countries.
He is the son of professional hockey player Earl "Ching" Johnson, a member of the 1954 Stanley Cup-winning Detroit Redwings team. Earl went by Johnson while playing hockey, but later changed the family name in order Johansson to reflect his Swedish heritage.
Paul's first on-screen appearance was in 1989, where he landed a minor role in a TV Movie titled Swimsuit. Following that, he went on to do much more, for instance appearing on shows like "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation", "Mad Men", "Bones", "Hope Island", "Criminal Minds", "One Tree Hill", and several others. However, most of these were smaller roles.
Sometime in the late 1990's-early 2000's, he married fellow actress and production designer Gabriela Oltean. They later had a child toegther, Quinn Johansson, by 2005 they were divorced.
